It has to be the great 1968 Tipperary hurling team. The 1960's, what a decade for Tipperary hurling! Seven All Ireland finals, winning four of them. An amazing decade producing such legends as the one and only Jimmy Doyle (Front row 4th from left). Not to mention Len Gaynor, Liam Devaney and 'Babs' Keating to name but a few. Truly the 1960s was a golden decade for the Tipperary hurling team. The very mention of these legends of 50 years ago has been inspirational to the great champions of latter years who would follow in their footsteps. Truly, "The premier hurlers".
