Bring your own shovels and bring your own spades. More importantly...Bring yourselves! All hands are needed in Warrenpoint in the year 1888 for the laying down of a historical GAA pitch.

This notice refers to the laying down of the GAA pitch in 1888 at Warrenpoint, Newry, Co. Down. It was known as John Martin's until the 1920's. The club colors were black and amber. In 1931, the Club was renamed St. Peter's GAA Club. The club colours are blue and white. Lending a helping hand. It was always the Irish way....
