Description

Ireland has the second highest consumption of tea per capita in the world. We manage to down about 7 lbs (3.5 kg) of tea each a year.  Before WW2, Ireland bought its tea from England, but after the war, with rations, Ireland began to directly import its own tea direct from tea producing companies. This led to a surge in tea companies being set up, about 50 in total, including Beckers Brothers. By the 1960's and 1970's many of the tea companies merged into the big companies we know today: Lyons, Barrys, and Robert Roberts. Robert Roberts took over Beckers Brothers.

We are delighted to present these fascinating rarities of old Ireland for you to own. We have added an 'aged look' to this print which creates a stunning atmosphere when framed.

We look forward to helping you create your own collection that can be treasured and admired by your family for many generations to come!
