The DeLorean - Made in Belfast. The iconic DeLorean cars were built in Belfast in the early 80's. An electric version of the DeLorean will be unveiled in Belfast today to mark the date that Marty and Doc travel to in Back to the Future Part II. The vehicle will be unveiled at the Ulster Museum. In addition, an iconic scene from Back to the Future has been recreated in the city that built the famous DeLorean cars. Doc Brown's legendary zip-line ride from the clock tower of the fictional town Hill Valley was staged at the clock tower in the Gasworks area of Belfast to mark 'Back to the Future Day'.
