Wanted poster seen on the streets of Galway in 1892. Published by the R.I.C (Royal Irish Constabulary) who offer a £100 reward for information leading to the re-arrest of John Hynes who just escaped from Galway Gaol. £100 would have been a lot of money back in 1892. It gives a detailed description of John, such as “scar at base of right forefinger” and “scowling appearance”.
