Description
A real gem here and a reflection of transport in Dublin at the start of the last century. What a picture! The beautiful enclosed delivery cart, the well shod horse and the friendly driver in perfect pose. The cart itself is a real beauty with well-painted livery and the simple logo 'Jacob's Biscuits'. Sure, the name enough would be enough to make any Irish persons mouth water!
Jacob's always had a great reputation as good employers right back to their foundation in 1885 on Bridge Street, Waterford. Just look at the well appointed driver's cab area catering for both comfort and shelter. Good on you Jacobs! You are part of our Irish heritage.
