Kevin Barry was born in 1902 and became the youngest person in Ireland to be hung by the British. His execution caused outrage throughout Ireland and the world, including the Vatican. He was buried in an unmarked grave in Dublin's Mountjoy prison. On the 14th of October 2001, Kevin was exhumed from his grave and given a State Burial in Dublin's Glasnevin Cemetery.
