Advertising poster for the All-Ireland Final clash between Cavan & Kerry in 1947. The game was held at the Polo Grounds in New York to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of 'The Great Famine' in Ireland. Approximately one million people died and a million more emigrated during the famine which caused Ireland's population to fall by 20% - 25%.
