Description
IAWS was founded in 1897 by Horace Plunkett as a co-operative for Irish farmers to sell their goods to foreign markets. It started out selling seeds and fertiliser and as time went on it developed its flour and insecticide operations. It went on to become an international giant food and agribusiness group. A great credit to Irish farmers in the 1890's.
