Description
The Wexford heroes of 1968. Coming back from an 8 point deficit at half time, they turned the tide and secured a hard fought victory over a formidable Tipperary side with a final score of 5-8 to 3-12. This was a huge setback for Tipperary inflicted by their old rivals. You will hear many an old Wexford-man wishing to have a team such as this at the present day. The likes of Tony Doran, Tom Neville and the Quigleys are fondly remembered when talking of Wexford hurling.
