Mother Redcaps, just off Thomas Street on Back Lane and Lamb Alley in the Liberties.
Once a busy indoor market and pub. I’ve great memories of coming here as a kid, you never left empty handed. The pub and market have been closed for over 20 years now. It’s a real shame to see the doors shut on a building like this. There was a time when you could step out the side door onto Lamb Alley and walk straight across to the Iveagh Market.
